Grief and Loss Training Certification Program
ABOUT THIS TRAINING
Are you or someone important to you suffering from a loss? Are you a therapist, counselor, social worker, clergy member or just a person that wants more effective tools for helping people through loss? If so, the Loss and Grief Training Certification Program is for you!!
The Loss and Grief Training Certification Program is designed to help others move beyond death, divorce, and other losses including relationships, health, career, business, faith and other losses we are likely to encounter in life.
CLASS INFORMATION
Classes are held virtually with a live instructor once a week. Each class is held for 2 hours. At the end of the course you will receive your Certification in Loss and Grief Counseling.

Facing the Losses of Life, A Christian View of Death, Ministering to the Dying,
Coming Face to Face with Death, Coping with Loss by Death, Facing the "Little Deaths" of Life, The Language of Loss, The Language of Recovery, Lessons Learned Through Grief.

Certification in Marriage & Family Ministry
ABOUT THIS TRAINING
Christian marriage counseling may mean different things to different people, that includes both the counselor and those receiving counseling. In Christian Marriage Counseling, the counselor is trained on how to use several techniques mixed with the Word of God to approach the issues that the married couple have. This mixed approach is utilized in the hopes to resolve marital issues so that the couple may live a long and happy life together.
CLASS INFORMATION
Do you want to earn a Certificate in Marriage and Family Ministry? Complete the following four courses to earn your Certificate of Completion. After completing the formal admission process for a degree program, you may also transfer credits for a degree at Dominion Theological Seminary (www.dominionseminary.org).
God’s Perspective on Marriage:
This course examines mate selection and preparation for marriage with principles to have a successful marriage from God’s viewpoint. Building Strong Marriages and Families: A study of the importance of communication and the periphery things that, when lacking, tend to destroy a marriage.
Conflict Management and Resolution:
This course contains principles for addressing conflict in the ministry, mission field, and business world. Suggested textbook – The Eight Essential Steps to Conflict Resolution – Dudley Weeks.
Marriage Counseling:
A study of the process and critical issues of pre-ceremony and post-ceremony marriage counseling.

Board Certified Counseling Certification
ABOUT THIS TRAINING
Do you want to become a Board Certified Christian Counselor? If so this course is for you as it studies the composite of the Christian with emphasis on the contrast between his mind, will, emotions, and the human spirit. The Lighthouse Christian Counseling Training Center offers this certification in Christian Counseling to help counselors with Christian beliefs to better guide their clients through mental health techniques and the Word of God.

The mission of Chaplaincy is to develop, equip, and to provide bona fide training services, which minister to both spiritual and emotional needs of all individuals. To support and act as a resource, to the community, city, and state.
